Mystery Crooner Heard

Okay, here is a question I have never been able to answer. There is a scene when Jeanne Crain is daydreaming and you hear a crooner sing a part of It Might As Well Be Spring. It is definitely not Bing Crosby but it is a crooner like him. I always thought it was Dick Todd, a Canadian singer. Does anyone know who it is? I have been trying to find out for almost 20 years!

Lobo, I saw your reply on the other thread. I'm sure not going to argue and I'm happy people (you) were interested enough to respond to a 4 year old post. Did you check out the commentary on the extras dvd? I'm going to watch that when I go to bed and see if I can find the quote, and I have one other possible source of info about it. The likelihood is we'll both be wondering for the next 20 years!
