Why so underrated?

I just watched this yesterday. How the hell is this not ranked as one of Hitchcock's best? I'd never even heard of it until I looked up the Hitchcock films that Bergman was in. It was just such a captivating and charming story. It's much better than corny Cary Grant and his "Whenever I make love to an attractive woman on a train blah blah blah".

Why the lack of recognition?
