Bondi was only 56 when she filmed the movie. She was 14 years younger than I am now, but she looked 14 years OLDER.

I just saw the the last 10 minutes of this movie. I was amazed to see that Beulah played Granny. I am very impressed by the makeup job back in that year. WOW.

She did look at least 70. I'm going to watch this again sometime as I couldn't actually make out who she was Granny to. If it is to Sam and Nona's children, then that wouldn't be flattering to Sam or Nona.
