I just watched this flick for the first time today on TCM channel,, (TCM is celebrating Garfield's birthday today) and Eleanor Parker is thorough babe in this. She's lovely!
I'm surprised we don't hear more about her
no arguement from me, this was the film that turned me into full fledged fanboy of that beautiful and talented lady! she does deserve much more recognition than just her thankless role in the Sound of Music!
