What happened to Cpt. Li?

All the sudden he disappears. It was right around the time of the ambush at the supply drop but I dont remember him running out to get them. Maybe his death was deleted or something?

Did the poor man die on the cutting room floor? That would be sad for a hard working actor.

I was coming here to ask the same question. He just disappeared. We can assume he was one of the men killed at the supply drop, but I didn't notice him being one of the men who ran out.
