Abbott and Costello were terrific performers on radio, stage, TV, and Movies. This has to be in the top 5 best performances by Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, it's hilarious!

It's one of my favourite of their movies. I find Who Done It? (1942) to be funnier, but this is in a close second.

Edit: After viewing some others, and this one, a few more times, Naughty Nineties (1945) is more like in fifth, but still hilarious.

Enjoyed the hell out of this movie. 20's-40's comedies were always the best. Can anyone suggest other great Abbott and Costello movies?

My favorites in order are:

The Time of Their Lives
Hold That Ghost
Buck Privates
Meet Frankenstein
Naughty Nineties.

I like most of the rest although there's a couple I don't care for, but those are my favorites.

I disagree, I think this is one of their weaker efforts

I don't think it's one of their best as an whole,but it contains some of their funniest moments on film.

I've always liked this as one of their best. Mainly because there are quite a few classic routines put into it.
