Brilliant Film, but
The 2011 miniseries is better.
This film is as good as was possible for the era it came out in, but the limitations of strict censorship really water down the story.
I realize this opinion is blasphemy.
That as slap was real....I doubt if the mini series had the style and class like the original..Joan looked fabulous in her clothes.
