Waaaay over the top

The word subtle is not in Betty's vocabulary. She plays every scene like it was a 4th of July fireworks show. She doesn't give 100% to a scene, but more like 300%. The Haitian musical number half way through the movie was a definite WTF with it's crazy feathed costumes, the embarassing male dancer get-ups, and the wildly overacted comedy bit with the acrobats.
