Enjoyable history

With the anniversary celebration, and so many other moments as well, this is not only a beautiful story, but a lot of the history of Scotland, the people, and the times. I enjoyed the men on the bus and the looks of the hotel they stayed at. I love going back in time to a simpler, nicer age. The world seemed a more sensitive place back then, and definitely a slower pace. Loved the scenes out in the large open with the eagle. And those beautiful big dogs! I know some younger people who will not watch black and white films, and this is a shame because you don't need color to bring all the beauty to view.....even inside the house. Think how great it must have been for Joan, perhaps staying with "Mrs. Potts" (can't remember how to spell her first name)to await the return of
Torquil and then to make a home on his lovely island. :)

It's a shock to some people when they go on the pilgrimage to Mull and see the real Moy Castle

It's in colour

But even with the scaffolding they've got up now because of the preservation work, it's still very recognisable. As are all the other locations like the Western Isles Hotel, Carsaig House, the phone box, Duart Castle (Castle of Sorne in the film) and many others
