Guilty

Like anyone on these boards posessing at least half a brain, I enjoy a good laugh at the expense of those poor dopes who leave posts about "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector," proclaiming it, "THE BEST MOVEI IVE EVER SEEN OMGLMAOBBQ!" While I myself don't plan on using any nonsensical acronyms, I would like to admit that I like "I Accuse My Parents." That's right. It's certainly not "Citizen Kane" by any stretch of the imagination. Hell, it's not even "Citizen Ruth." But it is an enjoyable little slice of cinema for a rainy afternoon. It is also one of, if not THE most watchable films in the entire MST3K cannon. Of course, the MST version enhances the film, making it even more enjoyable. So there. I like it. I accuse myself.

Just don't make Jimmy your idol. No sense in following the footsteps of a damn moron, eh? XD

I was shocked it got such a low rating. Its one of the most "watchable" movies featured in an episode of mst3k. Don't get me wrong, yes its a bad movie, but sub 3 stars?? Not quite. Id give it a solid 4.

I can see why it was Joel's favorite movie. It's one of mine as well. As long as your into old movies, this one is great! I love it with or without the bots. But I must say with is better. No it's not a fabulous script, and the characters are none to bright...But it's not monster a go go.

I'd have to accuse myself as well. I enjoyed "I Accuse My Parents", thinking to myself that this didn't seem like such a bad little movie at all.

And, I must admit, I don't understand half the acronyms I stumble across on some of these message boards. I must be older than I think I am.

Citizen Ruth! Thanks for making me laugh out loud!

Of all the films that came out of Hollywood's Poverty Row - PRC, Monogram, Republic, etc. - there were so many that were much worse than "I Accuse My Parents." Yet this gets into the Bottom 100 solely because it was MSTed.

I must admit it's probably the only MST3K episode I recall watching where I found myself occasionally annoyed by the riffing. I was slightly interested in the actual movie! Not a great film, to be sure, but not the usual "Cave Dwellers" drek either.

So what was the deal with that Shirley bimbo? She was coming on to both the son and father. Later on she's sitting on the dad's lap. The mother didn't seem to mind. Either she didn't care that he had a mistress or she was to drunk to notice i guess.

Sheesh, snoozealarm, speaking of annoyed...

I think this is the best episode of MST3K...I won't go so far as to say I'd watch the movie without the commentary...but I watch it regularly WITH the MST commentary!

you watched it, you can’t unwatch it

OK, that tears it: set phasers to stun.

My favorite "Parents-MST" exchange: @the end, when the judge begins his lugubrious logorrhea: "No child is inherently evil," to which Mike responds, "Except Pauly Shore."

The most hysterically insane flick ever made is "The Passion of the Christ". Since mst3k never had a chance to do it their way, me and my seminary friends have destroyed it as a sacrement. Delicious. "I Accuse..." was nuthin' but flat cinema and was made purely for the empty minds of its time. Hmm, it sounds pretty much the same as TPOTC.

What is the sound an imploding pimp makes?

Why are three different accounts cluttering the thread with the exact same message more than ten times? Double posts used to happen sometimes in the old AOL days, but 10+ is far too much. Talk about plagarism...
