Dead Nazi guy in the ambulance opened his eyes!!

Did anyone else notice...the German spy who gets hit by a car and dies, is transported in a taxi. After he dies in the ambulance, and the medic tells the driver he can slow down, the "dead" German guy opens his eyes and shuts them again!! Also, in a far-away shot of New York City, it appears that there are 2 Empire State buildings. Maybe it's just two similar buildings, but to me it looked like 2 Empire states in midtown!

They just showed another shot of a lady getting out of a cab with the buildings behind her...it must just be 2 similar buildings. There's no way back in 1945, the filmakers would have added an effect of 2 Empire state buildings. I guess I'm just used to seeing the current view of manhattan, so it looked strange.

There are not two Empire State Buildings shown in the film. The two buildings are the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, which were built around the same time (late 1920's), were about the same height (the Chrysler was built first and the people building the Empire State deliberately made theirs slightly taller so they could have "tallest building in the world" boasting rights) and have similar appearances, especially in the long-shot angle in which they're shown in the film.

His eyelids seem to be opening and closing throughout, and though I'm no expert on death, the man had JUST died so it may very well be accounted for by involuntary postmortem muscle contractions.
I mean, it almost certainly wasn't intentional but if I can justify 'goofs' in some way it makes me feel better about that film, lol.

As the expanding gasses build up in a dead body, they can force the eyes open (long after death). But the eyes certainly don't open and close.
