Did Dolores Moran flub her line?

Warning: Contains spoilers.

In the scene where Fran (Dolores Moran) is throwing herself at Athanael in hopes of separating him from his horn I could swear that she messes up her line and calls him "Emmanuel" as in "Emmanuel I love you!"

About this scene, I can suspend disbelief just so far. A hotel in New York with an elevator that goes up to heaven? OK. But any man, angel or not, fighting off the passionate advances of Dolores Moran - one of the greatest beauties of Hollywood's Golden Age? Now that's hard to believe.

Funny as Jack Benny is, I still found it hard to sympathize with his character Athanael. After all he's basically the Angel of Death here - trying his best to kill billions of people just to get a lousy promotion. What kind of movie "hero" is that? Ironically it's the movie's "bad guys" who are actually working to save the world!
