I have a beautiful copy of it on VHS, however it does have VIS TC. Email me if you're interested.

Oh, sorry. It's an industry term that means visible timecode (small numbers on the bottom of the screen). This tape was used for research purposes and the numbers were used to earmark a particular scene to clip. It does not, however, prevent an enjoyable viewing of the film.

I will do a VHS copy for $15 or a DVD-R for $20.

Only a few years ago, I videotaped this film from the Encore Westerns channel.

I know it has run more than once, because the first time I taped it, I was disappointed in the color quality. Too muted. I remember the original, in all its IB Technicolor hues, and I knew the picture looked better on release.

So, I kept waiting for it to run again, and when it did, I took a chance and re-taped it. Bingo! Got a beautiful print, resplendent in glorious Technicolor.

So I'm sayin': Watch the Encore Westerns channel. Frontier Gal (1945) will surely run again.

English subtitles are a MUST on all DVD releases!

I just watched this on the MoviePlex network in Phoenix the week of 8/8/16. Perhaps some of you can film it or at least watch it. The color and deCarlo are both gorgeous!
