Who plays Larcenaire?

Not sure I spelled the name right. The credits don't list the name at all. He was Avril's buddy. The most logical position in the credits lists Modot as some character I never heard of. But he was almost 60 years old. But then Arletty was almost 50 -- unbelievable -- so maybe it was Modot.

It's Lacenaire and the actor was Marcel Herrand.
He appears on the full cast list, but not on the front page one for some reason. Like several other characters- not Garance, however- Lacenaire was a real person and wrote interesting memoirs before he was guillotined.

Marcel Herrand played Lacenaire. (He's my favourite character in this great movie.) Marcel Herrand was a thespian and a stage director too, besides acting in about 20 movies until his death, in 1953.
