She crashed, THEN learned to dance

I remember seeing this movie during a Betty Grable retrospective on Channel 11, WPIX (at the time) in NYC, shortly after her death in 1973.

They screwed up the order of the reels, so the first two reels shown included the car accident where Betty crashes. 10 minutes into the film, the announcer broke in and admitted the mistake, and informed viewers that the movie was going to be re-started, at the beginning. That's when we learned how the duo got started.

Later, we all got to see the car crash AGAIN!
