Is Dillinger cellmate also the porter?
Is the African-American who is Dillinger's cellmate (the one with the pen knife with him in jail!), the same actor as the porter on the soon to be robbed train?

Not sure. But if they are one in the same I wouldn't be surprised. A lot of low budget movies do that. One such movie is called Space Mutiny where in one scene a space cadet gets killed only to return in the background of another scene later on.
