Uncredited Hotel Clerk

I saw "Detour" for the first time last night on the Turner Classics Movie channel. One character that is only seen for a couple of seconds is the female hotel clerk where Vera and Al stay in California. She is not listed in IMDB's cast list for the movie. I was wondering if anyone owned the movie and could tell me if it is Fay Holderness. Fay played Mrs. Hardy in "Hog Wild," requiring Ollie to put up an arial on the roof so that her radio could pick up Japan. She was also in "The Barber Shop" as the mother of the little girl brought in for a hair cut by W.C. Fields.
