Question (May contain Spoilers)

Do you believe the dummy was actually possessed, or did the ventriliquist have multiple personailities? I would really appreciate some thoughts on this.

reply

Well, that ambiguity is the nexus of the story. Although, I have to admit the multiple personalities scenario doesn't explain the bite marks on the ventriloquist's hand.

So I go with the possessed dummy.

After all, aren't they all?

I agree. Thank you for your reply BoomerMovieFan.

And there's the scene in the dressing room: when Kee enters it is suggested it's the dummy who's speaking (note the different quality of the voice).

In the same scene, we see the dummy turn his head while talking, while Redgrave, who is not touching the dummy, watches horrified.

Or believes he "watches horrified." ☺
