Anyone know where the beach scenes were filmed?

I wondered that too, thinking maybe it was where they filmed the ending to "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane". Reminded me of it at least. The driving scenes at the end sure looked like the Hollywood Hills/Griffith Park area.

This movie was pretty good until the final scene, which was too amusing.

I was especially wondering if it could be Pacific Palisades or Palos Verdes. I'm in NorCal and have never been there, but it seems a good fit for descriptions I've read or heard...though probably MUCH more developed now. I totally agree about the ending!

The first beach scene looks like "...Baby Jane". I know there's a road drive onto the beach turning right on the Malibu Colony Road. (Webb Way?) The last scene is Palos Verdes. Probably the same area as "National Velvet". Good film. Ending wasn't as good as the rest.

The ending worked for me. I like that it jumps ahead and shows us that they were able to move on with their lives and put back together the pieces that Ronnie almost destroyed.
