John Dall gay?
I read his bio and no mention of any significant other.

His "significant other" was Clement Brace. Dall told reporters he was divorced, but there seem to be no traces of an ex-wife, so this may have been a cover story to conceal the fact he was gay. (Raymond Burr falsely claimed to be a widower for similar reasons.)
