The morning after the wedding night - no dialogue, yet both Walker and Garland conveyed infinitesimal emotion without words.
Bravo to them, and the director.
This was an amazing few minutes of cinema - a lift of the eyebrow, a twinkle of the eyes, an affectionate nuzzle - all this illustrated Joe and Alice's deep love for each other.

Vincent Minelli did an amazing job directing this movie - kudos to him.

I just wish that the scene with the drunk had been really cut short. It's one of the most unnecessary scenes in movie history.
I still think that the film deserves 10/10. The story is so heartbreaking...
