Did Samuel L. Jackson ever see this movie?


When I saw this movie, Karloff blew me away. The way he projects charm, menace and a sense of irony reminded me of Samuel L. Jackson in Jackie Brown. His interactions with Daniels in particular made me wish there were other movies that drew out his whole range in this way. I am still watching all the Karloff I can find in hopes of seeing another performance like this. The "Suspense" episode "A night at an Inn" is probably the closest so far. As much as I like Walter Huston, I wish Karloff had gotten some of those parts. Youtube, here I come.

Samuel L. Jackson is the spiritual son of Boris Karloff, it's just common knowledge...
