hi! i adore this movie and want to use the speech that sr. mary benedict uses to address patsy about becoming a nun as my audition piece for an upcoming audition. Does anyone know where i could find this?

The only thnig I could suggest would be to search on amazon.com for movie scripts - and see if they have "The Bells of St. Mary's". It's possible - it was such a huge hit movie. For example, I have a book consisting of a collection of about 35 such old movie screenplays (unfortunately not including that movie).

I've just watched the DVD of the film - with subtitles. You could try and watch it slowed down or re-run the scene until you got all the speech.
