Has anybody bought the dvd of The Bells of Saint Mary's? While the picture quality and sound are pretty good, it has the annoying quirk of freezing for a second or two during random parts of the movie. I don't think it's my player since I don't have any problems with any other dvd's.

yes, we bought the DVD and just watched it. we didn't have any problems with the quality...maybe yours is just defective? sorry about that :) good movie though!

Nope, just got it for Christmas and I have no problems with it. I just wish it had more special features.

I bought it, It's barebones but has decent audio and video, and it is very cheap as well.

Who originally released this film? I have a VHS copy and they pit a black bar at the bottom of the credits that hides the original copyright.
