Bell for Adano location

I was surprised no one commented on the superb quality of the sets. IMDB shows all location work at 20th Century but the exterior scenes really look authentic with all the feel of Italy post-fighting in 1945. while watching it I believed they had filmed the exteriors in Sicily or North Africa (fighting over in both areas) but it appears they just did a bang-up job at the 20 Century studios. Amazing!
