the only thing I don't get..SPOILER


If Armstrong formed an alliance with Wargrave (I only read the book) and Armstrong thought Lombard was the murderer and they had Wargrave fake death, then what must Armstrong think that Lombards would think of someone dying who was not killed by himself? This also doesn't seem to accomplish anything assuming Lombard was the murderer, other than that it was very good.

also, what do you think the point of changing Marston and Wargrave's names was? I did see the movie now.

I read in another thread that it had something to to with the actor's nationalities. I guess since Matston and Wargrave aren't Russian or Irish names, they had to change them.

But why did they change General Macarthur's name to General Mandrake? My guess is that since there was an American general name MacArthur, the writers didn't want people to think that the character was based on him. Does anyone know the actual reason?
