Wonder if this practice is still going on?

Marriage fraud is still going on. I was a Special Agent with the INS and worked many marriage fraud cases. With organized crime with access to better computers than the Government false documents can be made. Nothing changes just the hardware.

Low class American women in military towns sometimes marry a lonely young soldier, knowing that in wartime he will be sent out of the country. She often gets his car and money, etc., while fooling around with men whom she's REALLY interested in. They've had a couple of these cases exposed on TV.
