Question about 'Streets were dark' quote

I've watched the film twice now and can't find the scene where Robinson says "the streets were dark with something more than night." I have the 99 minute MGM DVD. Is there another, longer print of the film ? (As IMDB's runtime listings would seem to suggest?)

Thanks anyone for an answer. I'm really frustrated by this.

There is no such line in the film. Its the opening line from a collection of Philip Marlowe short stories named Trouble is my business.
