Edward G. recognizes Dan Duryea at end, How?

I don't remember the Robinson character ever seeing the Dan Duryea character during his "dream".....yet recognizes Duryea as the doorman.....did I miss them seeing each other???

I think it's something that some folks would call a plot hole. Personally, I don't care that it happened like that.

It's not a plot hole. You can dream scenes that you yourself do not appear in. I know because I have.

I was dreamed I was Edward G Robinson, appearing in "The Woman in the Window".

Another time, I dreamed that I never woke up and this morning, my dream came true.

And I dreamed that you were dreaming about being Edward G. Robinson dreaming in "The Woman in the Window". xD

Definitely NOT a plot-hole. You can fantasize or dream about whatever you want. Think about it. When you picture the woman of your dreams....is she with you every second? Of course not. You view her in many different situations.

Yes you missed that it was a dream! his dream. Hew could Dan Duryea's character not be known to the dreamer? it couldn't. We know everything in our dream, logical and mostly illogical, and since it was his dream, he was dreaming of the scenes of the woman in her room with Duryea also, it is dream logic, not reality logic, thats why he recognized him in reality, he had seen him many times before as the doorman, and was injected in his dream as the heel.
