Same house as Manderly in 'Rebecca'

This looks like the same set that was used for the manor house Manderly in "Rebecca."

Talk about a star-studded cast!

You may be right, I'll have to look at the movie again. I've seen the same Manderly miniature used in a couple of movies. It's sort of like the house in The Magnificent Ambersons or the spiraling stairway and curtains originally used in The Great Ziegfeld. Both were "recycled" a few times.

its a standard MGM facade, ive seen it used in later fifties flicks like "bad and the beautiful" and "royal wedding". also some of these sets turn up in MGM films as diverse as "three musketeers" and "man with a cloak" and "marraige is a private affair". but if you really want repition, warners is the studio that most overused its props!
