What's the band playing?

In the scene in Dieppe after Sue and her husband have had dinner they hear a waltz being played outside on the bandstand. He asks her what is that song and she says she doesn't know but it sounds fitting in some way. Does anyone know what the song is? It was used off and on in other 20th century fox movies for years and I've been trying to figure it out.
