Balcony scene with baby

Did anyone else get nervous?
She was holding the baby and was so close to the balcony. The baby was heavy for her too and she kept adjusting her arms. Whole scene made me anxious.
I was anticipating a Michael Jackson incident. I was expecting her to dangle the baby over the edge any second.
And I know it probably wasn't a real balcony scene and there wasn't a drop there.

It's o.k.- when they were shooting it they had Dame May Whitty down below with a catcher's mitt, just in case.
