Indeed. Or at least the proverbial "fly on the wall".

My Dad served with one of Doolittle's men in Burma, after the surviving raiders had been returned and re-assigned to other units. I've forgotten his name but as I recollect, he was a navigator. I don't think they flew any sorties together (Dad was a gunner) but he and my father used to pal around with Arnold Spielberg (Steven's dad), who was the NCOIC of the squadron's radio maintenance section whenever they held a re-union.
