Found it on IMDb!

As a kid growing up in the New York metropolitan area, I saw this movie on TV many years ago. It played for one full week. Couldn't remember the exact title but part of the main song's lyrics and tune stuck in my brain and I decided to Google it: "You can take away my resistance, say it with love. . . ." and voila the title "Swing Hostess" popped up and that was it! I would love to see this film again and will be looking for it on TCM or another channel that runs vintage movies.
