you will love THE UNDERGROUND..check it here and rent it you know where 1941 version

U must be mistaken as there is no film entitled THE UNDERGROUND made in 1941.

Sorry, but the first poster is right. Underground (1941), not The Underground, is listed in IMDB at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034337/.

It says "Underground" made in 1936 not 1941.

I saw the movie 'Underground' from 1941 as well as this one. There are many similarities in theme but, while both are good, they're very different movies. I sincerely hope both these movies continue to be seen through the ages. We should not forget that things like these have happened and continue to happen in some parts of the world today.

Underground is a very good movie but The Seventh Cross is superb. Zinnemann was a terrific director.
