After having been appalled at the ghastly print used for the region 0 DVD released in the UK (I bought it to replace my VHS copy only to discover I was better off with the VHS) can anyone recommend the recently released region 1 version?

Thanks squid1991. I bought the DVD and it was great - the film and quality. Can't wait to buy Hound of the Baskervilles and Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.

Try Amazon I got the boxed set and thought the quality is not exactly the same on each disc they are quite good.
Do some research as some region releases differ by distributor.
I get all the Holmes box sets via Amazon.
