I thought it was pretty good. And Bela Lugosi was good. I liked the part at the end when Albert goes into the room with Carol and she goes, "Oh Albert!"

I too like this little film. Would really like to see a great print of it though.
Had a bit of a rough day before I watched it and when the bit came about the coffee... the whole first scene of this bit and Jack Haley says he is a drip... I just could not stop laughing. Well it just hit me in the right way.
Oh I also liked the bit with Jack in the basket with the cat. Quite funny.
And your right about the almost ending "Oh, Albert" was good.
Other good bits, Jack running around in the towel, in the coffin et. all.
And after pushing the coffee thoughout the movie, is it or is it not laced with rat posion (which no one will drink)the ending is a nice touch. Bravo to Bela. Too bad he did not have better parts overall.
Yeah I enjoyed this one too. It had some nice visuals and I enjoyed the acting & pleasant humor. But yes the print of this film was really bad. I like the darkness of the old Black & Whites but the version I had was way too dark. Could barely see what was going on in many shots, no matter how much I turned up the brightness on my T.V. So far this is one of the better Lugosi films I've seen.

I thought one of the funnier parts was when the professor kept referring to Tuttle by the wrong name...Mr. Turtle, Mr. Tittle.
