Disney animation?

Walt Disney (the man and the studio) comes up several times in the movie, including a scene where Disney is shown speaking on the phone, filmed from behind. So as not to spoil the plot I'll just say there is a sequence near the end with an animated character. My question is whether that part was provided by the Disney studio. Also curious whether the man in the brief telephone scene was Disney himself or an actor. Thanks.
