a funny movie

I don't think many people have heard of this movie. But it is really funny. TMC showed it on July 15, 2007. I laughed until I couldn't laugh anymore.
I just love Cary Grant in comedy. Just watch!!!!!

Yes, this is a funny movie. I hadn't heard of it until my father passed it along to me on DVD. Of course Cary Grant is Cary Grant, but I was also impressed by James Gleason as Cary's sidekick, William Demarest (less grouchy than usual, although not by much), and especially by Ted Donaldson, natural and persuasive as the young boy who owns the caterpillar in question. This movie is a charmer. I give it a solid 8/10, although I realize I am rating it higher than many on IMDb.

Give it a try.

Very heartwarming, especially considering right in heart of WW II homefront need for a lift.
More fun to use one's imagination than hyper-reality FX. Course that would be a kick but some stories are just meant to be what they are.
Kids are a charm as is Grant. Loved the huge painting of himself right behind him at start as height of grandeur.
Nice treat for beginning New Year. Love finding these little known/shown ones.
Rarely mentioned in articles regarding Grant. Big oversight as it does show the guy doing what he does so effortlessly.
