Haven't seen this in many years

I remember this was somewhat a comedy-musical re-make of Universal's 1930's mystery; " Secret Of The Blue Room " that starred Lionel Atwill and Gloria Stuart. Someone would volunteer to sleep in the " Blue Room ", and disappear. This was part of the " Son Of Shock " and/or " Shock " package that contained many Universal horror and mystery titles( excluding the Rathbone-Bruce Sherlock Holmes series ) that many television stations ran from the late 1950s throught the 1970s. The last time I saw this movie was on WAVY in Norfolk, Virginia in the Spring of 1974. They ran " Chiller Theater " on Saturday nights. Brings back a lot of fond memories. I have seen bootleg copies of this floating around on dvd.

I'm watching it now (first viewing), and I've seen Secret of the Blue Room several times now. I love Secret of the Blue Room, I like this version, but I was less impressed with the 1938 version (The Missing Guest). The music in this movie is excellent.
