I didn't see this film and I can't find a plot line anywhere. All I get is that it's a love story. Is there a plot or storyline to this?

I saw the movie last night for the first time in my life, and I must say I loved it. It made me cry, too, especially when that little pig was killed.
The acting was superb, and the landscapes so beautiful!
