I loved this film

My favorite scene is in the stagecoach when everyone begins to eat, and Simone didn't bring anything because she didn't want to delay the coach, and she looks around at her "friends" and no one offers her anything, but then John Emery offers her an egg and she starts to cry. It was such a touching moment...

Yes, that was a good scene; especially in contrast with the similar scene earlier in the movie when she shared her food with the others.

It just goes to show these horrible types exist in every generation. They're the kind of people that will look down their noses at someone like Ms. Rousset one minute then pretend to be her dearest friend the next. As soon as they no longer need something from her, they're right back to treating her like pond scum.

My favorite scene is when she stabs the German officer. He had it coming. It's not enough that they're occupying the country and a lot of the citizens have accepted them, they also want to antagonize everyone. I don't condone murder but all Ms. Rousset wanted was to be left alone; instead she was pushed, pawed and prodded.

Woman, man! That's the way it should be Tarzan. [Tarzan and his mate]
