In a remake Tom Sizemore should play Gus

definitely.

So I'm not the only one who saw the resemblance?

I do see a resemblance, but I think the perfect actor in a remake would be John C. Reilly (Chicago, Boogie Nights, Never Been Kissed, etc). He has such a great range in comedy as well as drama and I can just see him talking about "Rosie".

I thought about Sizemore too.

you must be kidding

Sure, try hiring actors to spend weeks in a small space with Sizemore.

Perhaps the OP just wants to reach out for some sense of community.

Sizemore is quite a character, isn't he?

He would be good, but let's hope that remake will never be made, because, as most, it would likely suck
