shareI agree. It's always disappointing when an actor who is playing a german and whose primary language is english speaks german with an awful accent. Miss B spent time in London and probably learned german during that time. English born actors seem more likely to learn a foreign language because of their proximity to the european continent.

shareThanks for making that clear. I didn't clearly explain that being raised in London or just visiting for an extended period promotes chances for learning a foreign language. BTW just re-watched "man hunt" with George Sanders as a Nazi major--his German was perfect!
