What a fun movie!

I was dreading this, due to everything I've read about it. But this was one of the most fun films I've seen in a spell.

"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whiskey, and 14 karat gold?"

I agree -- it was panned for all the reasons that make it FUN. If you enjoyed this movie, you would really enjoy "A Thousand And One Nights" (1945) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038165/

I'd never heard anything about it one way or the other and was just curious to see what it was. My son, who is 23, and I enjoyed it completely. Delightful surprise.

I thought it fun also.

Certainly a film which never tries to be anything but escapism,

but much better for me than the musical version of the fifties.
