Does anyone else think a DVD with CAPTIVE WILD WOMAN, JUNGLE WOMAN and JUNGLE CAPTIVE would be cool?
I have wondered why they have yet to release all three films in a series together. I would think it would have much more fan appeal. They could even package them with the Frankenstein, Dracula, Invisible Man, etc. sets--and it would likely kindle some interest among potential fans who don't even know that these movies exist.
shareThe wild woman does not have the same appeal as the other Universal monsters. The first movie was just ok, this one is worse. The first movie was released on dvd with other universal features (non monster ones). I am yet to see the third one. I think it's a case of popularity. The other Monsters had a more enduring popularity despite the subsequent sequels being mediocre as they carried on with the story, but this wild woman doesn't. She is not on the same league as Dracula, Creature, Invisible Man etc. He appearance is too close to the Wolfman to be original.
