Joan Leslie
Joyce Reynolds looks a little like Joan Leslie and as it turns out, Leslie was in the sequel, "Janie Gets Married". That had to have been hard for Reynolds.
shareI was wondering why Reynolds wasn't in the second Janie film, apparently Warner Brothers wanted to do a whole "Janie" series with Joyce Reynolds but Reynolds got married and put acting on hold, so the series was put to a halt, until WB kept getting requests hence the second film was made and Leslie stepped in for the role. I wonder why they didn't continue with the series.
