Was Lawrence Welk the accordion player?
The USO show uncredited accordion player looked a good deal like Lawrence Welk.
Would anybody know for sure?

Just saw it on TCM and instantly recognized (I think!) Myron Floren, who was the accordion player on Lawrence Welk's show. He's not in the credits but I played a squeezebox when I was a kid and Floren was depicted on much of my sheet music, so I remember his face.
Could be wrong, but I doubt it.
