Jack and Jane

Jack Carlson and Jane Wyman are so very talented!

I feel certain that was NOT Jack Carson's voice, nor Jane Wyman's either.

Singing, that is.

I think it was Carson's but not Wyman's.

I'm pretty sure that both of them weren't dubbed. Carson's voice sounded much like Carson and Jane could definitely sing (check out her musicals like 'Here comes the Groom' or 'Just for You'), she also recorded, so I don't see a reason why she shouldn't sing here. Anyway, I loved the scene! :)

Jack Carson really was a singer. I was surprised, too. His bio says he released multiple albums. He sings in many of his films. He's definitely not dubbed when he sings a little in Mildred Pierce at the restaurant right after it opens. His singing voice is the same in that scene as it is in his singing scenes in other films.
