...this movie is great.

Just saw Kitty Carisle's handprints in the East Village, incidentally.

and Jack Benny owns.

We just got TCM in Canada so I finally get to see this and other movies.

Watched it for the lst time and enjoyed it, immensely. Loved the cameos of the WB stars and the host of the affair, Bette Davis, who looked nice. John Garfield was a hoot. Joan Leslie........such is love.

I'm watching this one right now on TCM for the very first time . Wonderful classic all-star cast and music too . What a find this movie was for me . I see now where most of the 1980's musicians got their musical inspirations from . Thanks KingMercury for your subject post .

Definitely agree hka-3 they just don't make movies like this anymore . These are memorable one of a kind gems and thanks to TCM for always remembering these fine classics to share with all of us too .
